Day 29 A Happy Goofy Horse

Well, we are supposed to be stretching ourselves this 30 days, so I thought I would try this goofy horse.  We were driving by some horses and of course stopped to take a few pics. This happy goofy horse broke from the pack, and came trotting over to the fence in front of my camera. She had what looked like a big ol' smile, shaking her head(her hair) and seem to say, " OK, go, this is my good side!"  It was so funny!

Day 27 Just Outside Yellowstone

Day 26 I took the day off and used the banked day I had for earlier in the month! So today Day 27 was from a valley outside the park. The light was just right and the sky was pretty amazing. This will be worth trying in a larger canvas.

Day 24 Baby Girl

I have been wanting to try little girl for awhile but trying to do it in one day was not easy for me.   I worked on it again this morning.  I started painting it thick and that style just didn't seem right for a baby.  So I repainted it an smoothed out and eventually had to remind myself it is a one day painting.

Day 23 Waiting Patiently

Waiting Patiently, this is from a water village outside Shanghi China.  The water village was full of artisan that made everything from roof shingles to wooden bath tubs, and from silk robes to paintings.  What did I learn today, don't try to do a small detailed landscape with a palette knife. I kept tying and had to give up and go to the brush.
